Menopause

A painting titled Menopause😮 Why such a title? And why does it look overly optimistic and colorful? 

To me, menopause is a time when a woman steps into a new phase—free from societal expectations, beyond motherhood, ready to explore life in a deeper way.

Process: This painting is an upcycled piece—what started as an explosion of energy a year ago has now transformed, with layer upon layer telling a new story.

The visualization and its dramatic aspect are, of course, a visual joke—it depicts the artist in the creative process, evident on the clothing and beneath the painting.

This piece is looking for a new home—before it gets recycled and upcycled again, as it surely would in my studio!
